Giveaway: Sade “Soldier of Love” CD–3 Winners
February 8, 2010 by WeParent

Love is in the air, and we are thrilled to be celebrating it by giving away Sade’s new Soldier of Love CD to three lucky WeParent readers. It’s hard to believe that the last time the group released an album, Lovers Rock, was a decade ago, It’s really hard to believe when you see frontwoman, Sade, who looks untouched by time.
The album hits stores on February 9th. And, while we’re excited about the entire release, because we care so much about co-parenting and parenting, we can’t wait to check out the track, “Babyfather,” “about how great it is to be a parent, what a great honor and privilege that is, and what a terrible thing that is to waste,” frontwoman Sade Adu recently told PEOPLE. “As long as you feel good about yourself, you can be a good parent, and then it becomes an endless fruitful cycle,” she says. We second that emotion! We couldn’t get our hands on that one, but check out the video for “Soldier of Love” below:
So, like we said, we’re giving 3 copies of this long-anticipated release away. The deadline for entries is 11:59pm EST on Saturday, February 20th. Winners must have a U.S. address. We’ll announce winners here and on “Co-Parenting Matters” on Sunday, February 21st. Here’s how to enter to win one of 3 Soldier of Love CDs:

I would love to win this CD! I have been a Sade fan from the start of her career. I have so many favorites over the years…Your Love is King, Stronger than Pride, Never as Good…and on and on. Her music touches my soul and takes me back to places in my past. Love it!

I happen to love Smooth Operator and Sweetest Taboo – Both of wich hit the Billboard Number one spot.
A little known fact: Her band has also released their own CDs One of my Favorites is the self titled “Sweetback”. I reccomend track 2 “Softly Softly” (It features Maxwell)

Does leaving a comment = entering the contest? I have issues with technology and can’t figure out how to enter. Anyhow, I keep my marriage together by remembering that “love is stronger than pride.” I am a fan on FB and I’m pretty sure that I am a member of the Weparent community. I should be on the mailing list too. Sorry, I don’t twitter. I’ve been a fan of Sade since the 6th grade when “love was king.” And, I’d love to win because I’m always entering contests and I’ve yet to win one!

I wasn’t much of a Sade fan when she first came out on the scene. But her music has grown on me over the years. If I had to choose a favorite, I’d have to go with No Ordinary Love.
I want to win because I like FREE. I like the songs on her latest CD, and would welcome the opportunity to win it, rather than buy it.
